12-Hour MTU Ronde, July 25

A 12-hour (or 6-hour) mutli-lap or “ronde” mountain bike race around the Michigan Tech trail system with a celebratory atmosphere. Get a team together or come as a solo rider; either way join us for a “Rondevous.”
When: Saturday, clinic July 25, recipe 2015. 9:30 am.
Where: Michigan Tech Trails (Sharon Ave., case Houghton, Michigan)
Registration: $50
Day-of-race registration and bib pick-up: 8:00 – 9:00 am at the trailhead
Course: Moderately challenging but safe terrain entirely on trails with double track, single track (some mildly technical), flow trail, climbs and descents. One lap will be between 5-8 miles, and should be around 30-45 minutes for an average “12 hour” team rider.
Awards: Top male, female and combined teams (2-person and 4-person) and top 3 male and female solo rider.
Memento: Ronde water bottle to first 50 entrants.
Parking: Michigan Tech Trails, Softball Fields, or SDC Lot 24.
Camping: Available in designated areas. If you wish to camp overnight Friday and/or Saturday, please make a “Ronde overnight camping” request to atjoda@mtu.edu
Showers: Full shower and restroom facilities available at the SDC.
